Inpatients (Pamela Bryant ward)

Pamela Bryant is a 29-bed ward for adults who have been discharged from hospital but who need a period of rehabilitation before returning home.

The ward also admits palliative care patients and a small number of people directly from home whose condition is suitable for treatment in a community hospital, rather than a larger hospital.

Patients are cared for by the ward nursing and therapy staff with input from the visiting GP when needed.

We work closely with other agencies, such as social services, Richmond Response and Rehabilitation Team, district nursing, community matrons, Princess Alice Hospice and the voluntary sector.

We cannot provide care for patients whose primary problem is mental health related.
