Language support:  Interpreting and translating services

We can arrange for an interpreter to attend your appointment, or for a document to be translated into another language, including Braille.

If you require an interpreter to attend an appointment please let a member of staff know when you book your appointment or contact the clinic or team prior to your appointment.

If you require translation of a printed document please email our Patient Advice and Liaison Service on pals@hrch.nhs.uk or call 0800 953 0363.

Google Translate for our website

All of  our website pages can be translated into a language of your choice by using the built-in Google Translate module.

You can find this in the top left of our website - simply choose than language you would like and Google Translate will do the rest.

WordBank for our website

This website uses Word-Bank, an automated dictionary plug-in which scans every page for complicated words and provides an easy to understand description.   The online tool produces easy to read and animated definitions for difficult language, so that the reader does not have to move away from the website to gain a clear understanding of the content.
