Accessibility statement and website help

We are committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. We are actively working to increase the accessibility and usability of our website and, in doing so, adhere to many of the available standards and guidelines.

We endeavour to conform to the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities. Compliance with these guidelines will help make the web more user friendly for all people.

Google Translate

Our website features Google Translate, which translates website's content into over 90 different languages. You can find the Google Translate button at the top left of every page on our website.

Word-Bank

This website uses Word-Bank, an easy-read dictionary plug-in. Word-Bank was originally developed against the Royal National Institute of the Blind's See It Right standards to increase access for people using screen readers.

The online tool produces easy to read and animated definitions for difficult language, so that the reader does not have to move away from the website to gain a clear understanding of the content.

Word-Bank also encourages meaningful understanding of our website's information while improving online engagement by adding depth to content for those who would otherwise fall through gaps.

Continual improvement

We are continually seeking out solutions that will bring all areas of the site up to the same level of overall accessibility. In the meantime should you experience any difficulty in accessing any area of this website, please contact us.
