MS Trust visits local service to find out how we help patients

MS Nurse talking to patient.

Wednesday 22 April 2015

The MS Trust, the national multiple sclerosis (MS) charity, visited our specialist MS nurse service in Richmond recently to find out more about our invaluable local service for people with MS.

Representatives from the MS Trust spent a day with our MS nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and other professionals who work as part of the multidisciplinary community neuro rehab team to make sure that people living with MS get a holistic service across the range of symptoms that are part of MS.

The charity have written a blog post article about their visit to the specialist multidisciplinary team, based at Richmond Rehab Unit - which looks at the profound difference that MS specialist services can make for people affected by the neurological condition which affects around 100,000 people in the UK.

You can read the blog on the MS Trust's website here.
