HRCH wins 'Best Place to Work' at NT Workforce Awards

Nursing Times Workforce Awards

We are delighted to announce that HRCH has been named the 'Best Place to Work for Employee Satisfaction' at the Nursing Times Workforce Summit and Awards.

Our nomination focused on work to transform community nursing, reduce vacancies and improve staff satisfaction and wellbeing across the trust. Congratulations to everyone involved in that work!

The award reflects a huge amount of work by staff and senior leaders to motivate teams, create inclusive cultures and improve development opportunities and career progression.

Last year's staff survey showed that HRCH had the highest percentage of staff in a community trust who would recommend it as a place to work. The number of colleagues who felt the trust takes positive action on health and wellbeing went up to 96% and the number people feeling unwell as a result of work-related stress fell.

We are continuing work to improve staff engagement across the trust as well as putting extra support into individual teams and making sure that frontline staff have a strong voice so we know what is important to them.

Thank you to everyone who has made a contribution, big or small, to improving HRCH as a place to work. Staff across the trust are incredibly dedicated, professional and caring. We can do even more to make working here as fulfilling and enjoyable as possible, but we are immensely proud of how far we have already come.
