Trust update on floods

Thursday 13 February 2014

There is currently flooding in the local area of Richmond.

This is not affecting any of our community clinics and all our services continue to run as normal.

We are monitoring the situation closely and working closely with the London Borough of Richmond Council to ensure all our patients are safe and their healthcare needs are being met.

To do this, we are sharing information on our most vulnerable patients that may be in flood affected areas, to ensure the Council and the emergency services are prepared and able to take action should the need arise.  This information will be shared with the Council on the understanding that it will be shared further in the interests of patient safety. This action is being taken in accordance with the Data protection Act 1998.

We are also closely monitoring the situation in Hounslow, where the flood risk is currently not as high.

Any further updates will be put on our website and our twitter page.

For further information on flooding and Richmond visit the Council website.
