From 1 April, Hounslow and Richmond Community Healthcare (HRCH) and Your Healthcare (YH) will work in partnership to deliver community healthcare services in the boroughs of Kingston and Richmond.

These services are commissioned by South West London Clinical Commissioning Group.

Health and care organisations across Kingston and Richmond have always worked closely, collaborating even more during COVID. This new partnership arrangement is a great opportunity to work together, taking best practice from both organisations and using expertise and resources to do more for local patients.

This is in line with the Government’s recent white paper which includes proposals to make integrated care a reality and it encourages greater levels of collaboration between health and care organisations.

HRCH and YH have formed a Committee in Common that will enable the organisations to make joint decisions and manage the delivery of services across organisational and geographical boundaries.

This new contract arrangement will not cause disruption to any service or change relationships with partners and suppliers.

HRCH services in Hounslow and North West London, and school-age immunisations across South London, are not affected by this new arrangement. Other YH services in Kingston and Richmond will continue as usual.

David Hawkins, Interim Chief Executive of HRCH said: “This is a great opportunity to build on our previous collaborations and ensure local people consistently receive the best care possible.

“Our organisations know each other and work well together. This has been particularly important in managing the pandemic and has allowed us to adapt services at speed to meet the needs of local people.”

Ed Montgomery, Managing Director at Your Healthcare, added: “Our staff and members are crucial to the success of this new arrangement.

“There are some differences in services across the boroughs, but through this new way of working we will be able to learn from each other, share best practice and continue to innovate and improve. Our combined expertise will only benefit our community.”
