Huge congratulations to David Baker, Community Staff Nurse in the Hounslow Adult Learning Disabilities Health Team, who has completed the Edward Jenner Programme, in addition to his year-long preceptorship programme.
David said he has learned that “you don’t have to be in a formal leadership or management role in order to lead. You can take a leadership role in your everyday duties and work.”
The Edward Jenner Programme is run by the NHS Leadership Academy and encourages participants to think like a leader and realise that they have leadership potential no matter what their job role.
David’s colleagues are rightly proud of his achievement. Well done, David!
