The Radiology department at Teddington Memorial Hospital provides facilities and staff, in partnership with West Middlesex University Hospital, to support referrals from GP surgeries, outpatient services, Teddington Hospital's inpatients ward, and Teddington Urgent Treatment Centre. The Radiology department provides services for adults and children - seven days a week. However please note Teddington Urgent Treatment Centre is unable to x-ray children under 2 years of age. PACS digital imaging technology, with computer links to the West Middlesex Hospital, enables clinical images to be transmitted from Teddington Memorial Hospital to West Middlesex University Hospital where the consultant radiologists can view and provide immediate clinical advice where necessary.
Other services provided in the department include ultrasound, echocardiography and breast screening (by referral only).
