The trust’s respiratory care team will be holding a cake sale for patients and the public on Thursday 26 November at Centre House, Sheen Lane.
The sale is in aid of British Lung Foundation’s national Big Breakfast event that will help the 12 million people in the UK affected by lung disease.
Keen bakers from the trust will be taking part and donating cakes for the event!
The cake sale will be held in partnership with FiSH Neighbourhood Care, who hold ‘fish ‘n’ chat’ mornings at the centre, and will be providing hot drinks.

British Lung Foundation (BLF) is a charity that campaigns for better services for people with lung conditions and raises awareness about the cause of lung disease and how to prevent it. BLF have spent more than £24 million on research to increase survival rates, improve diagnosis, treatment and care, and develop understanding of lung diseases. They also support today’s young scientists and help develop their careers in the field of respiratory research.
FiSH Neightbourhood Care is a charity that provides voluntary practical support for residents of Barnes, East Sheen and Mortlake to help maintain independence and combat loneliness.
Other BLF fundraisers will be hosting Big Breakfast events across the country so come and join the respiratory team on Thursday to raise money for the charity!
