Diabetes Awareness Week takes place between Sunday 14 and Saturday 20 June.
If you live in Hounslow, our Health Promotion Team will be out and about across the borough throughout the week offering people diabetes health checks, diabetes and healthy living advice, and the chance to find your diabetes risk score.

The team of NHS health improvement experts will be on hand to measure your height, weight, BMI and waist to calculate your diabetes risk score - which is an indicator of how likely you are to get type 2 diabetes, based on genetic and lifestyle factors. The team can then offer on the spot lifestyle advice and suggest the relevant health and wellbeing services available.

Diabetes webchat - Thursday 18 June
During Diabetes Awarness Week, our Richmond diabetes service will also be holding a webchat, or online Q&A, for local people to join the discussion and ask questions to our team of NHS diabetes experts about how to manage diabetes more effectively, where to get local help.
